Kenichiro Ueno

Born in 1965 in Nagahama, Shiga. Kyoto University, then the Home Affairs Ministry in 1990, then the House of Representatives for the Liberal Democratic Party. What strikes me is the direction of travel: a man who helped build the rules now has to win elections before he can touch them. No television shouter, and since October 2025 he has been Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare. Governments run on people like this.
