Kouhei Takeda

Kouhei Takeda has my favorite kind of quirk in a Japanese actor's resume: he played two different characters in two different Kamen Rider series, a decade apart. In 2008 he was Otoya Kurenai in Kamen Rider Kiva, the hero's father, and around ten years later he came back to the franchise as Kazumi Sawatari in Kamen Rider Build. Getting invited back to a show that already gave you a memorable face is not a small thing, because the audience remembers and the production has to trust you can erase the old role. He first broke through as Kohei Kitahanada in Fuji TV's Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, and he works as a model too. Tokyo-born, 175 cm, marketable on looks alone.
