My Take
Kyoko Inoue is the kind of person who makes you straighten up just hearing her name — a pro wrestler out of Nanyo City in Yamagata, born in 1969, who built a career in one of the most physically punishing sports on the planet. Women's pro wrestling in Japan is no joke, and lasting in that world takes a stubbornness that goes way beyond dedication. I don't know every chapter of her story, but the vibe she gives off, even just through her social presence, is unmistakably tough-but-warm big-sister energy, the kind you'd genuinely want in your corner. In an era obsessed with polish and optics, that kind of grounded toughness feels genuinely rare.
