Lee Dong-hwi

Lee Dong-hwi is exactly the kind of actor I find most rewarding to watch. He broke through with Reply 1988 and then proved his range in the blockbuster Extreme Job, moving effortlessly between comedy and crime drama. Trained at Seoul Institute of the Arts and even singing with MSG Wannabe, he is a remarkably versatile talent. To me his appeal lies in warmth and humanity rather than conventional leading-man looks, which is why he fits so many different roles so naturally. He is the sort of richly textured performer who elevates every project, and I will gladly keep following his work.
