Lee Sang-yeob

Lee Sang-yeob impresses me with his remarkable range and quiet consistency. From the sitcom Living Among the Rich to the melodrama The Innocent Man, the period drama Jang Ok-jung, and the fantasy While You Were Sleeping, he slips comfortably into wildly different genres. Born in 1983 and educated at Hanyang University, he spent years building trust through steady, dependable work before earning wide acclaim as Yoon Gyu-jin in Once Again. I prefer actors who climb gradually rather than explode overnight, and Lee strikes me as exactly that kind of reliable backbone the drama industry quietly depends on.
