Leon Russom

Leon Russom is the kind of actor I treasure precisely because his name rarely registers while his presence always does. From his Starfleet brass in the Star Trek universe to roles in X-Files, Prison Break, Bones, and countless soap operas, this Little Rock native has spent a career adding gravity to other people's stories. I admire the unglamorous craft of the dependable character actor, the person whose entrance quietly tightens a scene. Stars get the posters, but performers like Russom are the connective tissue that makes television and film feel real, and I think they deserve far more credit.
