Lindsey Jacobellis

Lindsey Jacobellis is, for me, a study in redemption. Many remember the celebratory grab that cost her Olympic gold, but I think that moment unfairly overshadows an extraordinary career. From Connecticut, she dominated snowboard cross for nearly two decades as a five-time World Champion and ten-time X Games winner, the most decorated woman the discipline has ever seen. What I respect most is that she carried a very public stumble and kept winning anyway. That resilience, finally crowned with Olympic success, is what real toughness looks like to me.
