Lisa Edelstein

For me Lisa Edelstein will always be Dr. Lisa Cuddy, holding her own against House's impossible genius with a sharpness and warmth that anchored the whole show. What deepens my respect is her range beyond acting, she is also a playwright, a genuine creator rather than just an interpreter of others' words. That NYU Tisch training clearly runs deep. Add voice work to the mix and you get a performer who refuses to be boxed in.
