Lisa Haydon

Lisa Haydon appeals to me as someone who moves easily between worlds. Born in Chennai and Indian-Australian by background, she has worked as a model, actor, and television presenter without seeming boxed in by any one of them. Her breakout came with critical praise for Queen, which earned her a Filmfare nomination—real recognition in a notoriously competitive industry. I suspect that standing out in Bollywood takes more than beauty; it requires a distinct presence and inner steadiness, both of which she appears to have. There is something genuinely appealing about a career and identity that refuse to stay in a single category.
