My Take
Lou Ferrigno will always be the Hulk to me, and that is no small thing. He built a championship physique as a two-time Mr. Universe and then translated raw presence into a role that required almost no dialogue but enormous physicality. Knowing he achieved all this while living with significant hearing loss reframes that body as a monument to discipline rather than genetics. He even owns a Razzie, which somehow makes him more endearing, not less. To me he is the rare figure whose gentleness off-screen makes his on-screen power feel even more remarkable. A genuine icon of perseverance.
