Magic Johnson

What strikes me most about Magic Johnson is the joy he brought to everything. A six-foot-nine point guard should have been a contradiction, yet he turned the position into theater, making the no-look pass feel like a gift to teammates and fans alike. I admire his second act even more: after basketball, he poured his fame into businesses and investment in overlooked communities, proving the smile was backed by serious acumen. Plenty of legends struggle once the cheering stops; Johnson simply found new arenas. For me, he is the rare superstar whose greatest skill, making others better, translated perfectly to life after the game.
