Mallory Bechtel

What strikes me about Mallory Bechtel is the quiet discipline behind her path. Going from The Woodlands, Texas, to the Broadway stage of Dear Evan Hansen is no small feat, and serving as both lead and understudy demands a performer who can deliver full intensity at a moment's notice. I find that kind of readiness deeply admirable. Her turn as the Beasley twins on Pretty Little Liars shows a versatility that often goes unnoticed. She seems to be the sort of steadily-building talent I enjoy rooting for before the wider world catches on. I expect her range to keep widening.
