My Take

María Eugenia Suárez, better known as China Suárez, is interesting to me as a case of an actress who refused to stay in one lane. Born in Buenos Aires in 1992, she built a name in Argentine television, picked up a Sur award in 2015, and then spread into modeling, music and fashion design. I tend to be skeptical of multi-hyphenate labels, but the awards recognition tells me the acting was the real anchor and everything else grew outward from it. She's clearly a major domestic figure in Argentina, and the Pisces-and-Monkey trivia aside, what I respect is the breadth she's sustained over a career that started young.
