My Take
What draws me to Maria Fernanda Cândido is the quiet seriousness behind the model-turned-actress arc. Plenty of beauties pivot to acting; far fewer build a genuine body of work the way she has, from Brazilian television staples like Terra Nostra and Capitu to a Hollywood appearance in Fantastic Beasts. I read her as an emblem of Brazil's deep, often underexported pool of acting talent, and I'd happily follow her into the more weathered, character-driven roles I suspect her best years still hold.
