My Take
What captivates me about Marilù Tolo is the sheer volume: over 60 films between 1960 and 1985. Born in Rome, she rode the golden age of Italian cinema from modeling into acting, soaking up the energy of Cinecittà when Europe's finest directors gathered there. She's a living witness to an era most of us only know through restored prints. Flashy awards matter less to me than a body of work built film by film, and that kind of quiet diligence is exactly what I value. Her contributions to the screen won't fade.
