My Take
Marla Sokoloff is my favorite kind of actor: the one who never carried the marquee but made every show she touched feel more lived-in. As Gia on Full House she was the perfect foil, and her turns on Friends and Desperate Housewives proved she could slot into any ensemble without breaking its rhythm. That is a harder skill than star power, frankly. I also respect that she kept evolving, singing and directing, instead of coasting on nineties nostalgia. Careers like hers rarely trend, but they are the connective tissue of television. When I see her name in a cast list, I trust the production a little more.
