My Take

Michael Bergin is a case study I find genuinely admirable. A 185 cm University of Connecticut grad who rose from a blue-collar Waterbury upbringing into 1990s modeling and screen work, then walked away to become a real estate agent. Plenty of beautiful people coast forever on looks; far fewer have the self-awareness to step off the carousel and build something practical. I read that second act as quiet wisdom rather than retreat. Selling actual houses after selling an image takes a different kind of nerve, and I respect the grounded choice. He's proof that a face on a billboard can also have a sensible head behind it.
