Michael Bisping

I've always rated Bisping more for his mouth than his fists, and I mean that as the highest compliment. Becoming a UFC middleweight champion out of Britain took grit, but reinventing himself as a sharp, charismatic commentator and actor is the part that impresses me most. Born on a British military base in Nicosia, Cyprus, and standing at 188 cm, he fought his way up the hard way, even continuing to compete after losing the sight in one eye. That's the kind of stubborn, self-made story I can't help rooting for. He talks a big game and almost always backs it up, which is rarer than people think.
