My Take
What sticks with me about DePoli is the sheer commitment to a gimmick. As Roadkill in ECW, he wrestled in full Amish dress, billed from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and turned an absurd premise into something memorable. I have a soft spot for performers who win the crowd through character rather than flash, and that quiet craftsmanship is exactly what made him stick in fans' memories. Coming out of Baton Rouge, he embodies the journeyman wrestler whose value is hard to measure in highlight reels but easy to feel in the room. To me, that kind of dedication deserves real respect.
