My Take
Michael G. Wilson is the kind of figure I find quietly fascinating. A New Yorker with a Harvey Mudd science background who ended up steering the James Bond franchise for the better part of half a century is a story about persistence, not glamour. What draws me to him is that he chose the architect's chair over the spotlight, shaping one of cinema's most enduring brands from behind the scenes. The OBE and later CBE confirm the establishment took notice. I respect people who build something lasting through decades of steady craft rather than a single flash of fame, and Wilson embodies that ethic completely.
