My Take
For me, Mike Pollock simply is Doctor Eggman. Voicing the character across the Sonic franchise since 2003 is no small feat, and what impresses me is how he makes a villain both menacing and oddly lovable. His stage acting background clearly feeds that theatrical richness in his delivery. I have huge respect for voice actors who steward a single iconic role for two decades without letting it go stale. Pollock keeps breathing fresh life into Eggman, and that kind of consistent, character-defining work is exactly what gives a franchise its soul.
