Misumi Shiochi

I've got a soft spot for announcers who don't beg for the spotlight, and Misumi Shiochi reads like exactly that type to me. She's a Sapporo kid, born in 1982, and I swear you can feel that Hokkaido steadiness in the way a good broadcaster from up north carries herself, unhurried, grounded, never trying too hard. The Otaru University of Commerce background tickles me too, because it tells me there's an actual brain assembling those sentences, not just a pretty read of the prompter. Honest craft over flash, and I'm here for it.
