Momoka Itō

Momoka Itō, born in Saitama in December 1997, works as a singer and dancer, and is known for her time in the group Fairies. She has also done gravure work. She debuted with Fairies in September 2011, and since the group wound down in 2020 she has worked as an actress. There is one thing worth naming. Japanese groups built around genuine dance and vocal training tend to be technically excellent and publicly underweighted — the choreography is hard, the rehearsal load is punishing, and the coverage still skews toward whoever is trending. Anyone who spends their entire teenage years inside that system is doing serious work whether or not the wider audience notices. That is what I take away from her page.
