My Take

Nabil Dirar is exactly the type of winger I enjoy watching. A Casablanca-born Moroccan standing 182 cm, he plays the flank with the blend of close control and tireless running that North African footballers so often bring. His award column is empty, but I have always believed the players who prove themselves on the pitch rarely need silverware to speak for them. Dirar strikes me as one of those honest, hard-running contributors whose value never shows up neatly in statistics.
