Nancy

What draws me to Nancy is the resilience baked into her origin story. Emerging from a televised survival show into Momoland is no small feat, and her Korean-American upbringing between Daegu and Columbus, Ohio gives her a distinctive presence in a crowded idol field. I'm less interested in her as a singer than as a multi-hyphenate who hosts, acts, and performs with apparent ease. That versatility, I suspect, is what will keep her relevant long after the group cycle ends. Born in Daegu in 2000, she still has decades of runway, and I find myself genuinely curious about where her instincts take her next.
