My Take
Noah Schnapp earned my attention with one of the most striking debuts I can remember: voicing Charlie Brown in The Peanuts Movie and appearing in Spielberg's Bridge of Spies in the same year, then anchoring Stranger Things as Will Byers. What I value is how much heavy lifting that role demanded; Will is the show's emotional barometer, often playing trauma rather than adventure, and Schnapp carried it from childhood through the series' end. The awards came early, but he seems grounded, having stayed at his regular New York high school. I suspect his post-Stranger Things choices will tell us who he really is as an actor, and I am genuinely curious.
