Okan Buruk

What strikes me about Okan Buruk is that he conquered the same league from two completely different chairs. Seven titles as a player, five as a manager, the most in Super Lig history, and at just 169 cm he was never going to win on physical dominance alone. That tells me everything about his football intelligence and sheer winning instinct. Leading a giant like Galatasaray invites brutal pressure, yet he keeps stacking trophies with a quiet steadiness. A former star who genuinely understands his players, he is one of those rare figures who is simply woven into a nation's footballing memory.
