My Take

This is a profile I approach with caution rather than admiration. Omar Alexander Cardenas was added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list in 2022, wanted in connection with the murder of Jabali Dumas. There is nothing to celebrate here, and I won't pretend otherwise. What stays with me is the victim and the family left behind, and the sobering fact that lives starting in the same place can diverge so sharply. If he did flee to Mexico, my only hope is that he faces a court and due process. My take is simply that justice, not notoriety, should be the end of this story.
