My Take
Owain Wyn Evans is the rare broadcaster who feels fully himself on air. He came up doing weather bulletins, now hosts BBC Radio 2's early breakfast slot, and somehow turned viral drumming into part of his public identity. What I admire most is how openly he carries his values, championing LGBTQ causes and serving as a patron of the LGBT Foundation. Plenty of presenters smooth themselves into blandness; he does the opposite, letting warmth and conviction lead. That generosity of spirit makes him genuinely good company through a screen, and I think it is the real reason audiences keep tuning in.
