Paulina Gaitán

Gaitán earned my respect through Narcos, where her portrayal of Pablo Escobar's wife carried a quiet, unshakeable steel beneath the surface. Having worked in Mexican film and television since childhood, she brings a lived-in authenticity that no awards shelf could capture. I am drawn to performers who imprint themselves on a role without overplaying it, and she does exactly that. The work speaks. I genuinely hope she keeps building a career that carries Mexican storytelling onto the world stage, because the talent is plainly there.
