Paulinho is one of those players who makes you feel like Brazilian football's golden tradition is in safe hands. Born in Rio de Janeiro in 2000, he came up through Vasco da Gama before landing at Palmeiras, one of the most storied clubs in South America, and the step-up has suited him perfectly. As a winger he's got that classic Brazilian flair — quick feet, directness, a nose for goal — but what impresses me most is how composed he looks for someone so young.
