My Take
Penn Jillette is one of those performers I admire for refusing to pick a single lane. Magician, novelist, radio voice, provocateur, half of Penn & Teller, and a graduate of clown college, no less, he treats showmanship as a full contact sport. I love that his act often reveals the mechanics of a trick and still leaves you fooled, an honesty that doubles as misdirection. Twenty-five years headlining in Las Vegas is endurance most entertainers never approach. Whether he is dazzling a crowd or skewering a sacred cow, he is fully, loudly himself, and that conviction is exactly why he endures.
