My Take

Per Andersson reads, to me, like a true comedic all-rounder. Founding the comedy troupe Grotesco and then moving fluidly between acting, directing and writing suggests someone who understands jokes from the inside out, not just as a performer but as a builder of them. His presence on staples like Allsång på Skansen and Parlamentet means he is woven into Swedish living-room culture in a way outsiders rarely appreciate.
