Peter North

Peter North is one of those figures whose sheer output forces a kind of respect, regardless of the genre. With over 2,000 acting credits and nearly 80 as a director, he was less a performer than a one-man industry. What interests me most is the trajectory: a kid from a chilly Nova Scotia port town who built a long, durable career and then moved behind the camera as producer and director. That pivot tells me he understood the business, not just the spotlight. The AVN Hall of Fame nod feels earned. I see him as a working professional who outlasted nearly everyone in a famously disposable field.
