My Take

Quinyon Mitchell is exactly the kind of prospect I love to watch. He came out of Toledo, not a blue-blood program, yet earned two all-conference nods and went 22nd overall to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2024 NFL draft. I have a real weakness for players who climb through grind rather than pedigree, and that first-round selection from a mid-major says plenty about his tape. At 183 cm and born in 2001, the cornerback has time on his side. Shutting down an opponent's top receiver is a thankless, unglamorous job, but it is the sort of role that quietly becomes the backbone of a defense. I expect him to break out.
