My Take
Ramona Marquez will always be Karen Brockman to a generation of British comedy fans, and her deadpan timing on Outnumbered was genuinely remarkable for a child actor. But what interests me more is her exit from acting to become a tattoo artist. There's something quietly admirable about a former child star who refuses to cling to the spotlight and instead chases a craft on her own terms. Trading the camera for the needle takes a particular kind of self-possession. I respect performers who know when to walk away, and I'm curious to see where her artistry leads her next.
