Reginald Hudlin

Harvard-educated and one half of the Hudlin Brothers, he moves fluidly between directing, writing, and producing, from films he helmed himself to heavyweight productions like Django Unchained. To me he reads as a genuine cultural force, someone who pushed Black storytelling toward the center of mainstream entertainment while quietly mastering both sides of the camera.
