Rick Gonzalez

Rick Gonzalez is the kind of actor whose face you recognize long before you place the name. From Timo Cruz in Coach Carter to years as Wild Dog on Arrow, he has built a career out of grounded, working-actor roles rather than headline stardom. Coming out of Brooklyn and LaGuardia, he has that trained-but-unpretentious quality I tend to trust. Raised in Bushwick, Brooklyn, he trained at LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, the school that inspired Fame, and he lets the parts do the talking. I find that durability admirable; staying employed and credible across television and film for two decades is its own kind of success.
