My Take
Iler will always be A.J. Soprano to me, and that's no small thing: holding your own as the spoiled son amid that legendary cast, earning two SAG ensemble awards, is a serious child-actor feat. What I find most interesting, though, is where he went afterward. Rather than clinging to the spotlight, he leaned into poker and podcasting, betting on the games he actually enjoys. There's an honesty in that pivot I respect. Plenty of former child stars chase relevance; Iler seems to have simply chosen his own table, and I like a person who plays the hand they want to play.
