My Take
I've got a soft spot for idol-group graduates who quietly turn out to have more going on than the early choreography ever let on, and Rurika Yokoyama reads exactly like that to me. A Yokohama kid who came up through the bright, busy world of late-2000s idol pop and still made it through Meiji Gakuin University, she gives off this grounded, did-her-homework energy that I find genuinely likeable. What I respect is the range without the flailing: she sings, she models, she handles TV chatter, and somehow none of it feels like spreading herself thin. At 170cm with that easy, upright presence, she's the kind of personality who just warms up a frame when she walks into it. Pleasant, capable, no obvious drama — and honestly, I'm fine with that.
