Ryan Destiny

Ryan Destiny is the kind of multi-hyphenate I root for. Singer, songwriter, and actress out of Detroit, she comes from musical stock, with a father in the 1990s R&B group Guesss, then proved her range by anchoring The Fire Inside as a real Olympic boxing champion. Portraying a living legend is daunting, and taking that on shows ambition with backbone. What impresses me most is how she refuses to let versatility become dilution; each lane feels earned rather than dabbled in. I genuinely believe her best, most defining work is still ahead of her.
