My Take
I have a real soft spot for weather casters, because there's no role on TV where personality leaks through quite like it, and Sae Nakarai is exactly the kind I mean. There's something quietly reassuring about a smart woman explaining tomorrow's forecast with an easy smile and an unhurried voice, the perfect tone to land on you during the bleary morning hours. She's not the loud, attention-grabbing type, and honestly that's the appeal, she just does the job well, day after day, with a gentle dignity that makes you feel like the day is worth showing up for. I trust people like this for the long haul.
