My Take
Savannah is a figure I find impossible to think about without a pang of sadness. Reaching the top of the adult industry in the early nineties and winning AVN Best New Starlet in 1992, she had an undeniable on-screen magnetism, yet her life ended at just twenty-three in 1994. The Hall of Fame induction arriving the year after her death only sharpens the tragedy. I try to look past the notoriety and remember a young woman whose brief, bright presence left a real mark on her field. Hers is a story that deserves empathy rather than spectacle, and I offer it quietly.
