My Take
Honestly, the second I hear "lawyer who jumped into politics," I'm already leaning in, because that's a person who had a perfectly respectable, well-paid life lined up and decided to trade it for door-knocking, vote-counting, and getting yelled at in town halls instead. That tells me Sayaka couldn't sit still while the world stayed unfair, and I kind of love that. Born in Hachinohe in Aomori, then grinding through law at Soka University before stepping onto the national stage, her whole arc just keeps scaling up. She's not the flashy type; she's the keeps-her-word type. People like that? Yeah, I'm a fan.
