My Take

Sergey Brin interests me less as a billionaire than as proof of what immigration can unlock. A kid from Moscow ends up at the University of Maryland, falls in love with mathematics, and co-invents PageRank — an algorithm so consequential that 'to google' became a verb in dozens of languages.
