My Take
Shoko Takahashi was born in 1993 in Nagoya, stands 161 centimeters, and started in gravure in 2012 before moving into adult video from 2016 to 2022, winning a best new actress prize at the DMM adult awards in 2017. She now also plays guitar and DJs. What actually holds my attention is the pivot itself. She had already built name recognition in gravure, and then carried that same name into a different corner of the industry, which means rebuilding an audience almost from zero with no way back. Whatever anyone thinks of the work, that is a decision made with open eyes, and I find the decision more interesting than the numbers.
