Sriti Jha

Sriti Jha strikes me as one of those Indian television actors whose craft outpaces her fame abroad. Working primarily in Hindi TV, she has moved between romantic comedy and crime drama with a versatility that her stack of ITA, Indian Telly and Gold Awards rewards. What I value is the discipline daily serialized drama demands; you have to build a character's emotional life in real time, episode after episode, and keep an audience trusting you. That kind of sustained, unflashy reliability is genuinely hard to fake. I find her a quietly accomplished performer who deserves more attention than border-bound coverage gives her.
