Sunplaza Nakano Kun

Sunplaza Nakano Kun. Say that name out loud and you already know something about the man. Born in Kofu, Yamanashi in August 1960, raised in Chiba and a former Waseda University student, standing 181 centimeters tall, he works as a singer, lyricist, composer, actor and voice actor. Choosing a stage name that sounds like a joke is a real strategy. It disarms people. It buys you room to be serious underneath, because nobody arrives expecting gravity from a man calling himself kun. I do not have a detailed award record or debut story in front of me, and I would rather admit that than invent one. What the record does show is a career that kept adding job titles rather than narrowing to one. Singer, then writer, then performer, then a voice in someone else's animation. That is not drift. That is a person who found out early that the audience will follow a personality further than they will follow a genre, and who has kept the website and the social accounts alive to prove it.
