My Take

Armand is a connoisseur's footballer, and as someone who loves the craft of left-back play I find him quietly fascinating. Across Rennes, Paris Saint-Germain, Nantes, and Clermont, he spent a long career doing the unglamorous work: covering the flank, snuffing out attacks, delivering the cross while strikers took the applause.
