My Take

As a wrestling fan, I have a soft spot for Sylvain Grenier. The Quebec-born Canadian made his name in WWE as part of La Résistance, claiming four World Tag Team Championships alongside René Duprée and Rob Conway. A 183 cm model who could draw heat waving a French flag at a hostile crowd is exactly the kind of dependable heel that keeps a tag division alive. He was never the company's marquee singles star, but I rate workhorse villains like him highly. Grenier did the unglamorous craft of pro wrestling well, and that earns my genuine respect.
